The ShowPlex is one of the newest and probably the largest single building on the Puyallup Fairgrounds and is located just south of the concert arena. Unloading and loading of drums is done via the Orange Gate on the western side of the fairgrounds. You will be let in the gate and drive straight through the fairgrounds to the ShowPlex. We will be directing traffic to one or two doors for easy access to the ShowPlex Exhibition Center where you will drive in and unload your drum kit. It would be good to have someone watch your kit, but if you do not have someone to help, we will provide a watcher/helper.
After dropping off your kit, you will drive to the Blue Parking area on the eastern side of the fairgrounds (Meridian Street South) and then enter through the Blue Gate where you will see the ShowPlex to your right just a few steps away. You will come back to the unload area and proceed to set-up your gear. Our people will direct you to your particular floor space. After set-up you should head to Registration where we will have your Registration Package ready for you. If you have not pre-registered, this will slow things down a bit, but we will accommodate and welcome you.
Directions - From Olympia and the South
1. Take I-5 North to Highway 512, Exit 127
2. Follow Highway 512 east for 8 miles to the exit marked 9th St. SW / 94th Ave. E
3. Turn left over the freeway and go down the hill for 1.4 miles
4. Fair parking is on the right and left sides of the 9th to 5th st connector
If traffic is congested:
1. Continue on Highway 512 to the Meridian Street S. or Pioneer Avenue E. exits.
2. Follow the signs to Fair Parking.
Directions - From North or South Bound I-5 in Tacoma
1. Take exit #135 to Puyallup
2. Follow the signs to Puyallup
3. At the first stop light you can turn right to Pioneer Way East; or continue to the left on River Road.
4. Pioneer Way route: Travel 5.2 miles to 72nd Street E.
A. Turn left to stay on Pioneer Way E.
B. Continue 1.9 miles to Puyallup's 5th Street SW.
C. Turn right to 5th Street SW and follow the signs to Fair Parking.
5. River Road route: Travel 5.4 miles to Puyallup's 4th Street NW.
A. Turn right to 4th Street NW. It will change to 5th Street SW at the railroad tracks.
B. Continue 1mile to Fair Parking.
Directions - From Seattle and the North
Take I-5 South to the Puyallup Exit #142B in Federal Way. As exiting, stay in the left lane.
Turn right at the traffic light at the end of the exit ramp, then turn left at the first traffic light onto Highway 161.
Travel approximately eight miles into the Puyallup Valley. (Highway 161 becomes Meridian Street in Puyallup.) Continue south through town.
Turn Right at W. Main (just past the railroad tracks). Continue west 4 blocks.
Turn left at 5th Street SW.
Follow the signs to Fair parking.
OR
Take I-5 South to the I-405 North interchange, exit 154A, to Renton.
Take Exit 2 to Highway 167 toward Kent/Auburn. Travel South on Highway 167 for approximately 20.2 miles to Highway 512 West.
Travel 1.3 miles to the first exit, Pioneer Avenue. At the light at the end of the exit turn right. Continue east to 14th Street SE.
Turn right at 14th Street SE.
Turn Right at 7th Avenue SE to Fair Parking.
Follow the signs to Fair parking.
If traffic is congested:
Continue on Highway 512 to the Meridian Street S. or South Hill/Graham exits.
Follow the signs to Fair Parking.
Directions - From Bellevue and the Eastside
Take I-90 to I-405 South. Take Exit 2 to Highway 167 toward Kent/Auburn.
Travel South on Highway 167 for approximately 20.2 miles to 512 West.
Travel 1.3 miles to the first exit, Pioneer Avenue. At the light at the end of the exit turn right. Continue East to 14th Street SE.
Turn right at 14th Street SE.
Turn Right at 7th Avenue SE to Fair Parking.
If traffic is congested:
Continue on Highway 512 to the Meridian Street S. or South Hill/Graham exits.
